WOW, when Cindy Allen and her team at Interior Design Magazine throw a party, they really go all out. About 160 luminaries from the design industry gathered at New York’s DDB | Decoration and Design Building.  Thursday’s celebration introduced a novel collection from Pollack called the “Makers” collection.  Pollack has broadened its world—collaborating with five different type designers.  Glass (Katherine Gray), ceramics (Nathan Craven). The project began with Pollack VP and design director Rachel Doriss visiting the studios of designers to learn about their creative processes, which were then translated into the medium of fabric.  It was a lively party with Brad Bloom and Cindy Allen keeping the energy high and buzzing.
