The Fifth Annual Holiday House NYC got off to an excellent start with a festive Kick Off party on October 22nd. This event was hosted by Thom Filicia, Sara Gore, Alexa Hampton, Christopher Hyland, Iris Dankner and a star-studded Honorary Design Committee.
And that was just the beginning . .. .
More than 3500 guests came to see the spectacular Academy Mansion during its 4 week run. Guests were able to saunter through the marble clad mansion, mingle with this year’s talented designers and, most importantly, support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®
Holiday House has a clever way to raise awareness and money for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Each room in the mansion is designed and curated by an Interior Designer who chooses a Holiday theme and uses that as a guide for decor. When all the rooms are completed, the parties begin. Galas, book signings, vendor nights, performance art, backdrop for sports celebrations, etc. etc.
A special acknowledgement to all those pictured below for helping to celebrate Holiday House’s fifth anniversary, and shout out to Traditional Home for organizing countless gatherings and celebrations within the glamorous Academy Mansion on East 63rd Street.
We had the pleasure to attend several of this years special parties and exclusive events. I was honored to be included as PRESS – allowing me to ask fun questions and take wonderful photographs. What a surprise to see others taking pictures too. . . . . imagine??
