Mr. Vignatelli and Ms. Coulter along with Founder and Chairman of Panthera, Dr. Thomas Kaplan will host an elegant cocktail party and silent auction at Luxury Living’s New York City flagship showroom on Madison Avenue.
The July 2015 killing of Cecil the lion, who was monitored through the Panthera-supported Hwange Lion Project in Zimbabwe, ignited outrage amongst notable conservation organizations, as well as celebrities, public figures, politicians, and the international community. Luxury Living Group, the Italian manufacturer of luxury home brands is lending its support to the conservation of some of the world’s most endangered wild cats by donating a percentage of all proceeds generated from New York sales from October 14th – November 14th to Panthera.
Ms. Coulter has infused a wonderful mix of art into the Luxury Living location. Artist Peter Tunney has generously donated 2 works of art and is consigning a small collection of his impressive modern archival silkscreens. Tunney has crisscrossed the globe—from the African savannah to Wall Street boardrooms, he has amassed a wealth of experiences: funny, harrowing, infused with tragedy and joy—and on the other side of these countless miles he has emerged an artist with a message, his own media machine, affirming: GRATITUDE, DON’T PANIC, THE TIME IS ALWAYS NOW, EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE AMAZING.
These words are the basis of Peter Tunney’s artistic practice.
