THE PROFILE: All about Wendy Goodman who is the Design Editor of New York magazine and a contributing editor at Departures magazine. She also contributes to French and German Architectural Digest. She is the co-author of ‘Tony Duquette’ (Abrams) and the author of ‘The World of Gloria Vanderbilt’ (Abrams).
Before re-joining New York magazine – Goodman was the style director at Harper’s Bazaar under Liz Tilberis, producing and writing style, interior design and architecture stories.
Prior to her work at Bazaar, Goodman covered the world of style and fashion for House and Garden, tracking fashion designers and artists at home and traveling to the Paris, Milan and New York shows.
Wendy was born and raised in New York, attended the Brearley School, Simon’s Rock Early College and NYU Tisch School for the Arts. She has a passion for dance in all its various performances. Her design/style editions ‘design hunting’ of New York magazine are collectibles for any ‘lifestyle’ resilient New Yorker and beyond.
