THE PROFILE: ALL ABOUT ANDREA

THE PROFILE: ALL ABOUT ANDREA SELBY who is an artist extraordinaire, ballet dancer and philanthropist all wrapped in a svelte five three frame.  Watching Andrea Selby with a paintbrush is like watching a dancer move across an easel as her wrists flick and her shapes come to life on the page. She lets her paintbrush follow the movement of the vision, as her art becomes a diary of what she sees.  As a dancer who has danced professionally, she learned about the attention to detail and emotional development in a performance – a keepsake she took with her to the drawing board, when an injury forced her to sit out and watch rehearsals.

These days Andrea Selby is a celebrated artist.  Oil on canvas, watercolor on linen, charcoal to paper – Andrea’s remarkable ability to capture a sultry moment or a dynamic entrance has become her hallmark.
