After years of only working in hospitality, it was definitely an accomplishment when I launched Stacy Garcia | New York, my residential brand.
What are the rewards from your work
I love being able to inspire the people around me. Hearing people say
“You are such an inspiration!” is truly something that makes me love what I do. Being able to bring a vision to life and create beautiful spaces is one of the most rewarding aspects as well.
If there was a movie produced about your life – who would play you
Natalie Portman! She is a strong, funny and independent. We also have similar beauty marks so it just makes sense that she would play me right??!
Which philanthropic organizations have you been connected to
Doing philanthropic work is something that I hold very dear to my heart. I love being involved in as many organizations as I can. I have been connected to CARE, People to People, DIFFA, Holiday House, HRC and many more. Giving back is something that you can never do too much of.

What book are you currently reading
I definitely am a book worm. I love to read as many as five books at once!
I just finished reading The Law of Attraction by Esther and Jerry Hicks
along with Millionaire Mindset by Gerry Robert.
Who is your secret celebrity crush
Lady Gaga is my woman crush and can I have two male celebrity crushes?? Leonardo DCaprio and Adam Levine.
What is your favorite time of day
My favorite time of the day is 6:00am. There is just something about first thing in the morning when I wake up and my kids are still sleeping; it is like the calm before the storm. I like to wake up and exercise before I go about my day.
Do you know your heritage
I was born in Mexico and I am an Eastern/European mix of German, Russian and Polish.
Are you fluent in other languages
Not quite, but it is definitely a goal of mine!

I am a Sagittarius.
What would your DJ Name be
My DJ name would definitely have to be something unique, like DJ Inspo (short for inspiration) or DJ SG !

13. It has always been my lucky number.
Do you have a favorite fashion magazine
I would have to say Vogue. It is classy and contains the best fashion and lifestyle tips.
What is your “go-to” fashion brand
DVF. I love that she is all about pattern and unique design. Her use of color is also one of my favorites.
If we were to peek in your closet, what is the dominant color
Pattern. You would see a lot of pattern consisting of multiple colors.
What is your present state of mind
Currently I am grateful and feel blessed (and it is not just because I recently got over having the flu)! Being able to wake up every day and do what I love and have a family that I adore is something I constantly feel blessed about.
It’s 6pm at your favorite bar or restaurant, what drink do you order
Coffee all day but once it turns 6pm I am ordering White Sangria!
Do you awake with or without an alarm
With an alarm absolutely.
Do you have a favorite social media outlet?
Lately it has been Instagram. I could be on it for hours and not realize! There is just so much to do on it; the possibilities are endless!
If you could be a background singer, dancer or musician – which entertainer (living or dead) would you choose as the star
Madonna. That would be an experience of a lifetime.

My fluffy puppy Bailey.
One of the best lessons my parents taught me is to
My parents have been my biggest fans my whole life and they have taught me so much. One of the biggest lessons they taught me was that you determine your own success. You need to motivate yourself and you can’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. Believe in yourself and you will succeed.
What is your favorite work of art
I love the work of Edward Degas. His “Little dancer of Fourteen Years” is simply beautiful.
What is your favorite building in Manhattan
My favorite building is the IAC building by Frank Gehry. It is so modern looking and nothing like anything else you see in Manhattan. I also am very excited to see the Durst building when it is finished.
