Housing Works annual Design on a Dime event jumped off with a ‘slam dunk’ last night. The who’s who of what’s hot mingled, shopped and donated to charity all at the same time. THE Spring party was held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in homogenized trendy Chelsea district.
Handsome Doorman Andrew Greene who also oversees the annual event created by Interior Design Phenom Ford Huniford greeted hundreds of party-goers/ shoppers as the block-long queue began to move inside.
It was fun taking pictures of the design luminaries and their fashionable entourages as the sun began to set on the humid spring evening. It was almost as much fun as being inside – which will be part two of this story. I’m just sayin’.
