It’s always gift-giving season. Someone is always getting married and not necessarily just Jennifer Lopez. Birthdays, divorces, engagement parties, pet celebrations are just more reasons to shop at Tiffany & Co.
Jill Esterman, who is Tiffany’s new Interior Design Specialist gathered a small group of Designers and Influencers to introduce them to the new HOME AND ACCESSORIES COLLECTION. It was also a good to see the stately charm of the world’s most famous retail store.

We met in the private salon on the mezzanine – which is an extravagant, art deco influenced floor that has been richly appointed by A.M. Stern Architects. There are custom made vitrines and innovative cabinets displaying exquisite jewels and one-of a kind bling-bling.

Breakfast was beautifully displayed and served with the new collection of plates and flatware. I felt obligated to try everything from the salmon-bagels with capers to the Tiffany blue-cream dipped marshmallow with a gram cracker crust. . . pardon me while I sigh . . .

There was coffee and /or champagne offered before we scurried to teh private elevator and up to the expansive fourth floor. When the elevator doors opened and our group wanted to run through the store like children in a candy store. Ms. Easterman clutched her real pearls and whispered emphatically that we were all to stay together during the tour. We discovered beautiful displays of tableware, bar & drinkware, coffee & tea service, pet bowls, desk accessories, picture frames and in case you’re in the market for a $375 ice cream scoop, no worries, Tiffany’s has that too.

Style icon Elsa Peretti has a been a part of Tiffanys since 1974. The Florence-born sculptor touts organic and sensual forms of jewelry, glassware, belts, and baubles in her own wing of the fascinating fourth floor.

Also on FOUR is the chic and happening Blue Box Cafe which serves tasty, exclusively prix fixe breakfast, lunch, or afternoon tea menu at any seating. Reservations for The Blue Box Cafe at Tiffany & Co. open 30 days in advance. I’m not joking and neither are they. There was a fashionable queue of lunch-goers anxiously waiting to hear there name called for their reserved time.
