For over 30 years, ICFF has built a solid reputation as North America’s platform for global design.
ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) anchors an international celebration on a par with the Milan Furniture Fair and Stockholm Design Week, with hundreds of thousands of attendees and designers from across the globe converging on the city’s five boroughs in mid-May each year.
This year’s show took place at the Javits Center right next door to Manhattan’s new tourist attraction, The Hudson Yards. Although it is far more convenient to take public transportation to the west side neighborhood

Anne Kyyrö Quinn’s sculptural approach has pioneered a new genre of interior textiles based on three-dimensional structure rather than smooth surface ornamentation.

Always Unique – Always Original – Allison Eden launched her new fashion brand at Bloomingdales Department Store – touting color and pattern at her lively preview party right in the middle of the Bloomies sales floor.
Hudson Yards, is the largest private real estate development to date in North America, quite literally changing the landscape of New York City and the culinary world. Milos Hudson Yards, features an open kitchen, private dining rooms, walls of glass overlooking the Hudson River, and a spectacular outdoor terrace. I was excited to kick off design week with a Press Luncheon at this cleverly designed restaurant.
Nicolette Naumann, VP of AMBIENTE / Messe Frankfurt and GITA PR hosted a stylish luncheon in celebration of the worlds leading trade fair for consumer goods. Members of the Press, Designers, and Influencers met at the fancy new Milos Restaurant located at 20 Hudson Yards in the private room along with a private chef and dozens of friendly waiters who re-filled your water glass and wine glass every time you took a sip. I was so thirsty that day.
